Paradox was commissioned by and written for Tim De Maeseneer and Brass Band Willebroek for the 2025 album Beyond the Paradox. The work showcases the instrument's technical and emotional range, juxtaposing these two qualities side-by-side to conjur a work of a bubbly and virtuosic style.
